The worst one I saw was The WHO at The Oval Cricket Ground early 70's

People were throwing bottles into the air and landing on heads.
One girl got her face slashed wide open, blood everywhere. Violent times for music were the 70's

As a skinhead from about 76 to 83 most of the gigs we went to ended up in a riot.
Every Sham 69 gig I attended had some form of fight.
Madness played Old Street College they were called The North London Invaders at the time and the gig got called off when the skins cleared the students out of the building.
The Rejects in Birmingham was scary, but the one that I attended in Southall to see the 4-skins when the pub got burnt down and it started the Southall riots was the best of all.

Sex Pistols at the jubilee reunion, Crystal Palace stadium 2002.

Wasn't there for that one, but the 1986 riot was down to those elements attaching themselves to the scene.

the Yarmouth 86 run was memorable because of a right kicking a load of our lot got from some Angels in a pub. Blocked off the front door and made their way through the pub!

Saw the Meteors play once, their hardcore fans are called the Wrecking Crew!

Saw them play at the Donnington scooter rally in 1985.
Some fella got his neck slashed with a carafe that evening.

The most violent was when Edwin Starr played the 1896 Isle of Wight rally - turned into full scale riot.

There was serious tutting this Summer when one IDIOT applauded at a pause during Semyon Bychkov and the Vienna Philharmonic’s Brahms’s Third, and then did it AGAIN during Franz Schmidt’s Second.

Such scenes.

Stone Roses - Newport 95

Someone threw a Newport County shirt on stage and Ian Brown put it on.

When we got outside a load of Cardiff were dishing it out. Went on for what seemed like ages.

Thought it was an England v Wales thing at the time and swiftly made my way to the car park - Only to find the car missing. Was just about to make my way back down and find a cop shop when I looked across and saw the motor on top of the next car park along. The 90s eh?! Thanks for reading.
